Update Guide

BDExchanger supports one-click update directly from the admin panel.

📋 Before You Begin

Before updating your system, it’s strongly recommended to:

✅ Backup your entire website files (via cPanel File Manager or FTP)

✅ Export your database (via phpMyAdmin)

You can follow the Backup Guide.

This ensures you can restore your site in case anything goes wrong during the update.

🧩 How to Update (Step-by-Step)

1. Login to the Admin Panel

2. Navigate to:
   Admin Panel > System Update


3. Download the latest update file (update.zip) from the WPMethods download section

4. Click the “Choose File” button and select the update.zip file

5. Click the “Update Now” button

6. Wait for the process to complete — the system will automatically apply the update
   

⚠️ Notes

• Do not refresh or close the browser during the update process

• Do not extract the update.zip before uploading

• Internet connection should be stable during update
