Installation

Follow the steps below to install the BDExchanger PHP Script on your web server. This process should take only a few minutes if your server meets the requirements.

📋 Step 1: Server Requirements

Before you begin, ensure your server meets the following minimum requirements:

✅ Required:

• PHP version: 8.0 to 8.3

• MySQL or MariaDB

• Apache or Nginx web server

PHP extensions:

• PHP mysqli extension
• PHP allow_url_fopen ON
• PHP curl extension
• PHP fileinfo extension
• PHP gd extension
• PHP mbstring extension
• PHP openssl extension

🔐 Folder Permissions:

Ensure the following folders are writable (755 or 775):

• /uploads

• /includes

🗂️ Step 2: Upload the Script

1. Download the script .zip file from your purchase/download area.

2. Extract the ZIP file on your computer.

3. Upload all files and folders inside the /Script directory to your server’s public_html or desired folder using FTP or cPanel File Manager.

🛠️ Step 3: Create a Database

1. Log in to your hosting control panel (e.g., cPanel).

2. Open MySQL Databases
   
   

3. Create a new database
   
   

4. Create a new database user and assign it to the database with All Privileges
   
   

🌐 Step 4: Start Installation Wizard

1. Open your website in a browser:
   👉 https://yourdomain.com/install

2. The installation wizard will walk you through the following:

   • License key verification
     

   • Database setup (host, username, password, DB name)
     

   • Site Settings ( site title, description, url, default timezone, etc)
     

   • Admin account creation
     

3. Click Complete Installation to proceed through each step.

4. Once finished, the system will auto-remove the install.php file.

🔐 Step 5: Log In to Admin Panel

After successful installation, you can log in to the admin panel:

• URL: https://yourdomain.com/admin

• Email/Username: (Use the one you set during install)

• Password: (Your chosen password)

🧼 Step 6: Post-Installation Checklist

✅ Delete the install.php file if not automatically removed
✅ Change default logo, site title, and settings from Admin Panel
✅ Set up SMTP and SMS gateway for email and phone verifications
✅ Add your first currency and exchange rates
