SMTP Configuration

Enable your platform to send emails (e.g., OTPs, contact forms, notifications) using SMTP from your cPanel hosting.

📌 Step 1: Create Email Account in cPanel 

  1. Log in to your cPanel.

  2. Go to Email Accounts.

  3. Click Create.

  4. Create an email like:
    support@yourdomain.com

  5. Set a strong password and click Create.

📌 Step 2: Get SMTP Settings

After creating the email, click Connect Devices next to it.

Use the following typical settings (adjust if your hosting says otherwise):

 
SMTP Host: mail.yourdomain.com
SMTP Port: 465 (SSL) or 587 (TLS)
Encryption: SSL or TLS Username: support@yourdomain.com
Password: [Your Email Password]

 

📌 Step 3: Configure in BDExchanger Admin Panel

  1. Go to Admin Panel >SMTP Settings

  2. Fill out the fields:

 
  1. Save the settings.

  2. Click Test Connection to verify the configuration.

⚠️ Common Issues

  • Authentication failed – Check if your password is correct.

  • SSL error – Try using TLS with port 587 if 465 fails.

  • Email not delivered – Ensure SPF/DKIM/DMARC is set in your domain’s DNS.
